Call for Papers: June 2026 Issue of in God’s image

This issue will mainly be focused on the 2025 workshop, “Restoring Peace and Justice: Feminist Perspectives on Leadership and Trauma Healing” in Chiang Mai, Thailand from 27th September to 1st October 2025. Myanmar women, children, and people have always been our/ AWRC concern, especially after the coup. In the workshop, attendees were encouraged to speak, draw, and sing after listening to keynote sessions and group discussions. Attendees deeply felt they are not alone and in solidarity with one another, Korean ally and AWRC. These precious moments cannot just pass by; should be recorded as our shared commitment with more people who are concerned about Myanmar.

Hereby we welcome your submission on the sessions, reflections, presentation of creative collective imagination, etc. You are also welcome to contribute topics in relation to gender, marginalized groups, justice, and hope in Myanmar. There is no limit on the forms of your submission, such as poetry, art works, liturgy, and painting are all welcome.

The deadline will be at the end of January 2026, and the file is to be sent to sahehstar@gmail.com and service.igiawrc@gmail.com.

We are looking forward to hearing from you soon. Please contact us if you have any questions or queries about the submission process.
